Cox named as a Farm Bureau trustee

COLUMBUS - Jenny Cox of Dresden has been elected as a southeast regional trustee by the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation at its annual meeting recently in Columbus.

Cox and her husband, Jared, own Cox Seed Sales, seed crop insurance and raise hops which they sell to local breweries in Muskingum County. They’re also part owners of Cox Brothers Farms, which raises corn, soybeans and wheat. She’s a 20-year member of the Muskingum County Farm Bureau and currently serves as president of the chapter.

Cox has a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism from Ohio State University and a master’s degree in education from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University. She’s a member of the Ohio Corn and Wheat Growers and Ohio Soybean Association, Tri-Valley School Board, Mid-East Career and Technology Centers Board and was previously an English and language arts teacher at Tri-Valley High School.
